Active travel

In 2024  we did have a few voiced concerns (rather than actual complaints) about the traffic chaos on Ysgubor Wen road during the afternoon of the race. Things became particularly tricky for large vehicles trying to access Tyddyn Ddu campsite next to the Gladstone. So please please:

  • Come by bike if possible
Public transport
  • Consider using public transport - Penmaenmawr train station is only 10 mins walk from the Gladstone 
  • Or park at the FOC station car park
Travel by car
  • Car-share where possible
  • Park responsibly, using other roads other than Ysgubor Wen rd if possible
  • Arrive early enough to park in the FOC village carpark  - 15 mins walk away
